RAT TALES

Bringing Together People With a Love For Acoustic Music


December 2003:
Open Stage in the Old Chapel.
A small but enthusiastic group singing carols, joining in a jam session and raffles. 
Heatherhill Achievement and Rat Awards went to Tom for his performance with the moose and the clarinet.

November 2003: Brightwater.
A great mix with their repertoire comprises 60% original material with the remainder drawn from traditional, modern folk, acoustic songs and Country flavored pieces.
The Heatherhill (Rat) award was presented to Alex Legg with a couple of Blues numbers.

October 2003: Barbara Jeffrey & Austin Brady
The Heatherhill (Rat) award
was presented to Wayne Thompson for support to the club (and performance).

September 2003: Rick E Vengeance.
Heatherhill Achievement and Rat Awards
went to Lisle and Andrew, separate acts who performances were terrific. 

August 2003: Come Alive.
Heatherhill Achievement Award and Rat Award
both went to Casey Hogan. For someone so young -What a voice. 

July 2003: Eddie Cole & Daniel Burton.
Heatherhill Achievement Award went to Bob and Mike (Urban) with original Blues songs.
The Rat Award went to Dennis Bruce.

June 2003: Bernard Bolan.
Heatherhill Achievement Award went to Paul, Robyn & Mark (Irish Ballads).
The Rat Award went to Alex (Spoken word)

May 2003:
Highroad Strangers.
Heatherhill Achievement Award
went to Rob Sawyer, young guitarist of the year (Frankston Guitar Festival).
The Rat Award went to Barbara (Singer and Harpist).

April 2003:
(Good Friday)
Another great open stage night with an Easter Raffle and too much talent to list. Kicked everyone out at midnight (they didn't want to go).

March 2003: Steve Dooley and Christie Heart.
The Rat Award went to Gary Doud (instrumentalist extraordinaire!)

February 2003:
Inna Tube.

The Rat Award went to Phil Young for an excellent contemporary folk performance.

December 2002:
Open Stage Night - 25 people attended and had a heap of fun!

November 2002: Cyril Moran.
The Rat Award went to Helen for an acapella version of He's No Bodies Moggy Now (Eric Bogle).

October 2002: Dave McFarlane.
Bush Poet Ed Walker received the  inaugural (Rat) award.

September 2002:
Rick E Vengeance.
